This week has been quite difficult. Work was a pain I am learning how to spray trees which is easy if one is not pressed for time. However this is not the case for me. I have to spray many accounts daily so, my boss helped me to better understand how to do work faster and still keep the same efficiency too. I am excited for this weekend I have the blessing of bringing family temple names to the temple on Sat. YAY!! I am also excited for Miriam to do bridals for our friend Darby. I know she will do an amazing job. In the meantime I am about to watch a fun movie with Miriam I hope everyone has as good of a weekend as I am about to have!!

Wonderful Summer Treat

My Friend Laura gives out the best recipes. She claims she is a wannabe chef, but i think she is closer to a pro than she thinks. She gave out this recipe on her blog and i am in love with it. Sneak Peak For Denae...

Can i say i LOVE doing baby pictures!! They make me baby hungry, i am not going to lie.. Isaac is the cutest thing in the whole world. He has such amazing parents, which i have had the pleasure of knowing them since we were little.. There will be more to come, but here are a few of my favorites!!

My Bestest Friend

I know i am a day late posting this but, its better late than never!! I have to get on and say what an amazing mother i have. She is my Bestest Friend and my HERO.. I am so lucky to call her my mother. I talk to her everyday, sometimes more than once a day. When i thought i could not go on, my mom is there to pick me up. She is the definition of strength, unconditional love, and always full of charity. She is always looking for ways to help others, she is never worry about herself. My mom puts others first, even when she has no energy to go on. I have been blessed with an amazing mom. I hope i can be half the woman she is. Today, i say thank you. Thank you mom for all you are, all you continue to be and for loving me, teaching me the Gospel, holding me when i cry, and always telling me things will be OK.. You and i have been through a lot together and i would not trade any of that. I hope every girl has a relationship like i do with my mom... I know these would not be the pictures she would pick to be up but, to me they say so much more than just a good picture, they show love.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

to laugh, cry, and just be me

Its late for me to be up.. Jared is not home yet, so i am surfing blogs. I have come upon a couple from my aunt Laurel who talks about my grandparents who left us way to soon. As i sit and read the entries, tears seem to fall down my cheeks. I wish this was a new thing for me, but tears are something that seem to come often lately.. Why the tears? Why do i feel the urge to cry over a simple saying i read, a status update on FB from my sweet cousins who have lost their mom, commercials on TV or the newest thing to cry over, JUST BECAUSE.. I wish i had the answer ( it maybe the simple fact of nursing school stressing me out),  many times i have wondered if my wish has been answered of being a mom, but all the tests point to negative.. "It will happen when its time" are the words i am told and i do believe them. It is just hard to accept at times. I will be honest and thought it would just happen and it would not take time.. I guess the Lord knows best and things will happen in their own time and place. As for tonight, i will miss my husband (even though he is just at a movie with some friends), and enjoy the tears i have. I am grateful to be me.. I cry when i am sad, laugh when i am happy, and i have been taught by inspiring women to never be ashamed to feel the emotions i do. So till the Lord decides it is time for our wish to be granted, i will love my tears, my smiles, my ever changing emotions and enjoy thinking of those i love that have gone before me. I have a whole six day vacation from school so i guess these emotions are finally finding time to surface... I would not say i am depressed, just a little emotional.. 

Sheer Dumb Luck or Divine Inspiration

Jared and i attended the ward auction to support girls camp on Monday night. We walked in with our eye on the prize of homemade beef jerky (we shoot for the stars i know).. Well the beef jerky went for twice the amount we budgeted to spend. Jared got me a necklace that is gorgeous, its a type of stone in a heart shape, very simple and just my style. 
We had a little left over and decided it was for a good cause so we would enter the drawing for a night at a B&B in salt lake city. The price to enter was 2$ per entry, or 5$ for 3 entries. Before the auction we put 5 dollars in and thought we did a good job. However, while we were watching the auction and haggling people to spend more i got this feeling we needed to enter the drawing and not spend money on anything else.. Being the type A personality i am, i sent Jared over to the drawing and we payed 5$ more for 3 more entries. I saw people spend 30$ just on entries so i did not think we were even in competition to win. The drawing came and i got all excited. The name was called and we WON!! i know they picked one of the entries that jared put in the second time because they had a hard time reading the handwriting and it took a minute for them to say our last name!! I was so shocked and was very glad i was a little pushy in getting more entries in.. so you tell me, what that sheer dumb luck or divine inspiration? ( we did have the auction at the church, lol) so here is where we are going. The prize is worth over 230$ and we get to stay in one of the expensive rooms.. to look at the website click here. We are so excited, our anniversary is this month and we had plans of going to dinner at the Roof at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and then to the SLC temple to do sealings. We did not want to blow our money on a room so we just were planning on coming home. Now, we are going to do all that still but we have another night to go to salt lake and pamper ourselves..  the place is adorable and i can not wait to go!!
