Down to 2 days!!

Yes, everyone its true!! We are down to 2 days!! I am so excited and so READY for this wedding to be here. I need a break and this honeymoon/ mini vaca is something i know we are both looking forward to.. To sleep and just relax sounds almost to nice!! I am going to admit I am scared to death to take a break from studying when i know I should be. Jared has asked me not to take my books with us on our honeymoon, but i have not promised anything yet. I may take them and never touch them, but then i can say the effort was there to stay up on my reading (which is 13 chapters for one week of pharmacology and Med Surg). I am honestly barely keeping up as is so we will see how this wedding and honeymoon go!! We are going to the Homestead and staying there 3 nights in the honeymoon suite.. We are then heading home so i can go to school and take two tests.. But at least there is a honeymoon!! I have 3 weeks off in August and we are thinking we may head to Disneyland as Jared has never been there and all of you who know me and my family, we are OBSESSED with Disney!! So i am going to take him to the happiest place on earth if we can escape!!! Next time i write i will be married!! hope you all make it to the reception!! Love you all!!

Happy Birthday Jared!!

Today I want to wish HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Jared!! he is a trooper i must admit! Jared runs all over town with me trying to find things for the wedding, he is putting up with my OCDness of cleaning (yes i am a germ-a-phobe), and still makes me laugh everyday!! This poor guys is not getting much of a birthday since i swear every penny we have is going to the wedding, but we will make it up in years to come!! Jared is truly my best friend. He is so loving, willing to help anyone in need and always looking for ways to help my days run a little smoother. I could not ask for more. He is so much more than i deserve. I know he is going to be a great husband and a wonderful father. I am so blessed to have him in my life and I can not wait till saturday to be sealed for time and all eternity!! I am marrying my best friend, yes he is a clutz and makes the most random burp noises!! But that is why i love him, he is not afraid to be himself and always keeps me on my toes!! I love you Jared and i hope you have a wonderful day!!

First comes love then comes BRIDALS!!!!

Well, here are some of my bridals!! Jill once again did an amazing job!! i just kind of put them randomly on here so forgive the mess of this post.. I am trying to figure out the formatting of this!!

Jill and I and my long time friend Mary ventured out to the Tahitian Noni Gardens to do our "photo shoot". I loved it all!! There are so many pics that i love i have a hard time deciding what to put up!! Wedding is next week, and it feel so great to say that!! I am so excited for it as i know my amazing fiance is!! I am one lucky gal. Jared is so good to me. Even though i am not a mom yet he still bought me a rose and made me feel special on Mothers day!! For those of you wondering what i have on my feet they are truly flip flops!! Like i would wear anything else!! They are adorable and Jared has to hide them from me so i don't wear them everyday!!

Miriam and baking!!

I have had the week off of school. I have not had to work much this week since the census is low at the hospital. I am going insane with boredom. I had looked at Shelley's blog and I decided I wanted to make the cookies she made look so appealing. I am not a baker at all, but this recipe Shelley posted was so easy!! I even had the chance to use my "magic bullet" that i received as a bridal shower gift to blend the oats!! This is an amazing recipe and now i just need some people to come on over and eat these cookies so i do not eat them all!! I can't wait for Jared to come home and see my amazing skills!!! Now if i can only figure out what to make for dinner every night!! I am starting to run out of ideas.. but maybe i can hold off on dinner with these cookies!! Thanks again Shelley for the recipe!!

Friends....

I am blessed with such amazing friends!! I had a bridal shower yesterday and was showered with gifts and so much love!! i saw friends i have not seen since graduation from high school, friends that have come in and out of my life and friends that are as close as family and of course my sisters were there (as they are for everything in my life). As i was driving home i was thinking how grateful i am and i just started crying in gratitude for the blessing of friends. Each one of the girls there i know had many things to do that day, but they were there to celebrate this time in my life and i am so grateful!! I have friends that have stuck by me through some hard times and i am so grateful for them!! I know i would be lost without my girls and i want to thank them again for everything!! I am once again sending a shout out of thanks and love to my girls!! You all have touched my life in so many ways and i am blessed to call you my friend!! Thanks for everything i love you all!!!

Almost there!!

We are down to 22 days. I am anxious as i know jared is.. I have so many things to be grateful for!! my family is amazing. My parents want me to focus on school and not let the wedding effect my grades, my sister is making so many things for the wedding and my brother is letting my dad cook so much food at his house!! My little bro is my witness at the wedding and i am so blessed to have him there!! Jill did my bridals, which are amazing!! if you want to see them you will have to go to her blog site captured moments, there is a connection on my site. She is keeping them there so jared can not see them!! I survived my first semester of nursing school and i am proud of myself to say the least!! Jared has decided he wants to go to PA school so i know we will be in for a big adventure!! If anyone has not received an invite to the wedding please let me know!! I will send you one!! Remember the reception is a Luau so come ready to eat (please bring kids) and for a show!!

This background is just so fun i could not pas it up!! Finals are coming up, wedding getting closer and stress is piling on.. So when i was looking for a cute background i loved this one!! you can not help but smile and think life is not so bad!! Jared and i are getting me all moved into our apartment so then I can study all weekend.. But, one semester down and one semester of becoming an RN!! Jared is so great to me. I have an amazing family and friends.. So dont let the rains storms that are coming ruin your day!! Remember the blessings in our lives from a smile form a friend or the blossoms finally coming out!! Live is hard for everyone i think, but lets keep smiling!! life is to short to be in the doom and gloom mood!!!
